Swivel recliner chairs are quite popular among many homeowners because of the functionality and movement of the chair. Most of these types of recliners can spin in a 360 degree circle, and are generally competitively priced with other recliner models. These chairs have more of a modern look to them, but there are several models I have seen that can fit in with the more traditional décor.

Prices on these swivel recliners can range from a couple hundred dollars, to several thousands, depending on the manufacturer, type of fabric and also the features of the chair itself. I have given an example of an economical, medium range and high end model below:

It is really not an extremely durable chair, but if it isn’t abused, it should hold up for a decent amount of time. I wouldn’t suggest anyone who is overweight or very tall buy this chair, as it seems to be designed for smaller people. It is ideal for game rooms or dens/home offices.

MAC Motion Leather Swivel Recliner (B0012FWK3M) – this is a more upscale, leather recliner that wouldn’t look out of place in your family room or great room. It has a beautiful design made from stained pecan hardwood. The lather is 100% microfiber and can easily be cleaned. This chair runs for about $490 when you can find it on sale.

iJoy 550 Robotic Human Touch Massage Chair – this is a swivel massage chair with just about every feature you can imagine. It will massage both your back and shoulders, and you can use the remote control to set custom massages. I found it funny it has a cup holder, but it is a nice simple feature some people may appreciate. The only drawback is that this chair comes in just one color – black. It runs around $900 at retail.
