I was just recently made aware of Catnapper recliners by a friend. I really like what I have seen from their various models, and they are pretty reasonably priced as well. They have a nice array of recliners, nothing that really has blown me away, but a lot of solid designs and colors.

A Catnapper recliner could be a nice buy for anyone who is looking for a simple design, with some high quality craftsmanship behind it. If you are looking for something with more pizzazz, then this probably isn’t the recliner for you. If you have a more modern décor in your home, I would also stay away from them.

For those that are interested, I have listed a few of their models here:

Score Oversized Leather Rocker – this is one of the few transitional pieces I could find. It is extremely plush and made from top grain leather. This piece could in fact work in a modern home, but it would have to be a really conservative décor with neutral tones. I would strongly recommend it more for a traditional décor.

Inferno Recliner – what I like about this recliner is that it comes in five unusual colors such as Dijon, Spice and Tranquil. It is also a very plain piece that can be used to accent any room. However, I wouldn’t use it as a centerpiece. This model usually runs for about $400.

Heritage Power Lift Recliner – this is more of a functional piece than one you would buy for style. It is designed to assist people out of the chair, and to make it easier for them to stand up. This way they don’t have to strain while lifting themselves out of the chair.

As you can see Catnipper has a little bit of everything, and may be worth your while to at least check out a few of their models.
